art show: the starry night

early on june i had an art show at my high school. i had my own booth and named it the starry night.

the starry night was a combination of my inspirations: the starry night sky, northern lights, 1940s~50s antiques, music, art nouveau, french impressionism, my dreams and imaginations, colors, film Amélie, and more. and this was where i was sitting.

left side of my desk from my view. i placed some of my favorite and inspirational books and films. on the wall old photos of my grandfathers, cards from my old friends, and some of my post it notes were with me.

to add up the style i wanted to express, i took from my basement room my hand-made-thus-crappy-and-weak easel and children size wooden chairs that i bought last year from a thrift store.

i'm still editting photos and i still need to get more photos from my friends. but for more insights and photos, visit my flickr! www.flickr.com/charlotteyoungyoon
